These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PurpleQR website, dashboard and API at purpleqr.com (the "Service"), operated by SAASCAPES Software Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("PurpleQR", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

PurpleQR lets you create static QR codes (the data is stored inside the code itself) and dynamic QR codes (the code points to a short link on our servers that redirects to your content or to a page we host for you, and records scan statistics). We may add, change or remove features at any time.

You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including team members and API keys you create. Notify us at support@purpleqr.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access. No payment details are required to start a trial.

When the trial ends, your account moves to the free tier: static QR codes you have already created and printed keep working indefinitely, while dynamic QR codes, hosted pages, editing and creation are paused until you subscribe to a paid plan. We do not delete your data when a trial ends.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Dashboard → Subscription; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Prices are shown on our website and may change with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

You may not use the Service to link to or host content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, pornographic, malicious (malware, phishing, scams), deceptive, or that violates the rights of others. You may not attempt to disrupt the Service, circumvent limits, scrape other users' data, or resell the Service without our agreement.

We may disable any QR code, hosted page or account that we reasonably believe breaches these rules, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities. You can report abuse to support@purpleqr.com.

You keep all rights to the files, text, images and links you upload ("Content"). You grant us a licence to store, process and display your Content only as needed to provide the Service (for example, to show a hosted landing page to someone who scans your code). You are solely responsible for your Content and confirm that you have the rights needed to use it.

For dynamic QR codes we record each scan's time, approximate location (derived from IP address), device type and browser, and show these statistics to you. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to how you use these statistics about your own audience.

API access is provided to paid subscribers under the same Terms. Keep your API keys secret. We may rate-limit or suspend keys that cause excessive load or abuse.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where practical. Because dynamic QR codes depend on our redirect service, you should keep your subscription active for as long as the printed codes are in use.

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or remain unpaid. On termination your dynamic QR codes stop resolving and we may delete your data after a reasonable period, except where we must keep it by law.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAASCAPES Software Private Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including QR codes that no longer resolve after a subscription ends.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above; material changes will be notified by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
